In short: custom forged wheels are priced per wheel, and the final figure depends on construction, size, design, finish and your specification. At IQS, pricing starts from $989 per wheel, so a set of four starts from $3,956 before options. Compare quotes on the same basis: construction, size, finish, delivery and warranty.
What drives the price
Construction
Forged wheels cost more than cast wheels. Tire Rack notes that tooling, equipment and development make forging expensive in the aftermarket. Within forged, monoblock and 2-piece are priced differently depending on the design, so compare like with like. Our guide to monoblock vs 2-piece explains the difference.
Diameter and width
A larger, wider wheel uses more material and more machining time. Expect a 24 inch wheel to cost more than a 19 inch wheel of the same design.
Design complexity
More complex spoke shapes take longer on the CNC machine. A simple design is quicker to cut.
Finish
The finish affects cost, and so does the number of finishes. A two-tone 2-piece wheel needs more steps than a single finish.
Custom specification
Non-standard widths and offsets, or a staggered set, change the machining and the set you receive. Describe what you want in the custom order and the quote follows that.
Delivery, duties and taxes
Shipping, import duty and local taxes depend on where the wheels go. Ask every seller for the full delivered price for your country.
Things outside the wheel
Tires, mounting, balancing, TPMS sensors and lug hardware are separate from the wheels. Plan for them in your budget.

The price shown for a design is where the range begins. Your exact total depends on the size, finish and specification you pick, and the quote states it before you commit.
A worked example
Four wheels at the starting price come to $3,956. A 10% deposit on that figure is about $396, paid to start. Your own figure will differ with size and finish, but the structure stays the same: a small deposit, a render you approve, then production and delivery.
How to compare quotes
- Same construction: cast, flow-formed, monoblock or 2-piece.
- Same size, width and offset.
- Same finish.
- Delivered price for your country, with duties and taxes stated.
- Who checks fitment, and what happens if the wheels turn out wrong for the car.
- Warranty terms and cancellation terms in writing.
- Lead time, and from which point it is counted.
The cheapest quote can leave out the items that cost money later, so make sure each quote lists the same things.
Is forged worth it?
If you want a wheel in a specific size, width and offset, built for your car, forged is the way to get it. If you want a stock look on a daily car with a fixed budget, a good cast wheel can be enough. Our guide on forged vs cast goes through this in detail.
Why a very low quote deserves a second look
If one quote is far below the others, find out why. The wheel may be cast or flow-formed and described loosely as forged, the price may leave out shipping, duties or taxes, or the fitment may not be checked for your car. Ask for the construction, the alloy and the full delivered price in writing.
Common questions
Is the price per wheel or per set?
Per wheel. A set of four is four times that figure, adjusted for the size and finish you choose.
Can I cancel after I pay the deposit?
You can cancel within 30 days, including after production has started.
Are tires included?
The wheel price covers the wheels. Tires, mounting and TPMS sensors are separate unless your quote states otherwise.
